Context Suite

Understand what mandera knows about your website, where that knowledge comes from and how it changes over time.

The context suite builds and maintains the background knowledge mandera uses across the system. It crawls your website, detects changes, records context activity and keeps your Brand Memory up to date.

From here you can:

  • see whether mandera has captured context activity
  • review pages that were crawled, changed or updated
  • inspect activity over time
  • switch between timeline and URL-based activity views
  • review, edit and regenerate Brand Memory
  • understand how mandera detects website changes
  • check whether mandera has enough context to support recommendations

Keep context fresh. The more current your website context is, the better mandera can understand your business, explain changes, generate relevant strategies and create useful content.

The modules

Overview

The overview shows how much website context mandera has captured and whether relevant page changes were detected.

Use the pills above the chart to switch between pages crawled and pages changed.

Pages crawled shows how many pages mandera has discovered and read from your website. Pages changed shows how many pages were updated compared to earlier context.

Use this module first when you want to understand whether mandera has already read your website and whether the current context is active.

If no context activity appears yet, the first crawl is probably still running. It starts right after you add your website, so check back in a little while.

Activity Feed

The Activity Feed shows the context events mandera detected on your website.

The timeline view lists events in chronological order. Each row shows when something happened, which URL was affected, what changed and who or what caused the event.

Use the By column to understand whether an event came from mandera, a user action or the mandera crawler. This helps you separate website updates, crawler activity and AI-supported changes.

Switch to by URL when you want to group activity by page instead of time. Use this when you want to inspect whether a specific page was crawled, changed or updated.

If no timeline moments or URL history appear yet, the first crawl may still be pending. Events appear here as soon as mandera has read your site.

Brand Memory module

The Brand Memory module shows mandera’s structured understanding of your business.

The details view shows fields such as industry, region, description, target audiences, offers, facts, primary goal and terms of expression. These fields help mandera understand what your business does, who you serve and how your brand should communicate.

Use the edit icons to update individual fields when something is incomplete, outdated or not specific enough. Use the activity view to review Brand Memory changes.

Regenerate Brand Memory when you want mandera to rebuild its understanding from the current website context.

Review and edit Brand Memory

What mandera knows about you

mandera builds its understanding from your website and connected context.

This can include:

  • public website pages
  • page content detected during crawls
  • changed pages
  • Brand Memory fields
  • manual edits
  • AI conversations and strategies
  • connected data from other suites

This context helps mandera understand what your website is about, who it is for, what you offer and which growth opportunities are relevant.

Brand Memory fields

Brand Memory fields describe the most important parts of your business context.

These fields can include things such as your industry, region, business description, target audiences, offers, facts, primary goal and terms of expression.

The exact fields may depend on the current setup, but the purpose stays the same: Brand Memory gives mandera a structured understanding of your business.

Edit Brand Memory

You can edit Brand Memory when mandera’s understanding is incomplete, outdated or not specific enough.

Use editing when:

  • your offer changed
  • your audience changed
  • your positioning changed
  • your tone of voice needs to be clearer
  • mandera misunderstood something from your website
  • you want future AI outputs to follow better context

Keep edits clear and practical. Specific context helps mandera create better analysis, strategies and content.

Regenerate Brand Memory

Regenerate Brand Memory when you want mandera to rebuild its understanding from the current website context.

This can be useful after a larger website update, once the weekly crawl has picked up the changes.

Before regenerating, make sure the website has been crawled and that the most important pages are publicly accessible. If important pages are missing, Brand Memory may be incomplete.

Audit Log

The audit log shows how Brand Memory changed over time.

Use it to understand:

  • which fields changed
  • when a change happened
  • whether context was updated manually or generated
  • why future recommendations may look different
  • how your business context developed over time

The audit log is especially useful when multiple people work in the same workspace. It helps your team understand which version of the context is currently used by mandera.

Change Detection

How mandera detects changes

Change Detection is how mandera notices when your website content changes.

mandera compares newly crawled website content with the context it already has. When something changes, the context suite can record that update and use it as new input for future recommendations.

Change Detection can help mandera notice:

  • new pages
  • updated pages
  • removed pages
  • changed page content
  • changes that may affect SEO or growth strategies
  • context updates that should influence future AI outputs

This helps mandera avoid outdated assumptions. It also helps the Agentic Engine understand what has already changed and what may need attention next.

Because mandera also remembers what it has already done, it knows which pages were optimized and when, and never suggests the same opportunity twice.

How often mandera crawls

mandera re-crawls your whole site every week, automatically. There is nothing to set up and nothing to trigger. After bigger updates, like new pages, changed services or new positioning, the next weekly pass picks up the changes on its own and records them in the Activity Feed.

Common tasks

Check whether mandera knows your website

Start with the overview. If the chart or activity area is empty, mandera may not have captured context yet.

Then open Brand Memory and check whether a business profile has been generated. If Brand Memory is empty after the first crawl, use Regenerate Brand Memory.

Review recent changes

Open Activity and use the timeline view.

Review the latest events to see what changed, which URL was affected and whether the event came from mandera, the mandera crawler or a user action.

Use the by URL view when you want to inspect one specific page.

Check a specific page

Open the by URL view and look for the page you want to inspect.

Use this when you need to confirm whether mandera has seen a page update or whether a changed page has been captured in context.

Update Brand Memory manually

Open Brand Memory, choose the field you want to update and save your change.

After saving, check the audit log or activity view to confirm that the update was recorded.

Regenerate Brand Memory

Use Regenerate when you want mandera to rebuild Brand Memory from the current website context.

Use this carefully after major website changes, because it may update the way mandera understands your business.
