See everything happening on your website, from traffic sources to page performance, without cookies or personal data.
The analytics suite measures your traffic and shows it across a set of focused modules. From here you can:
- follow your traffic over time and break it down by metric
- see where visitors come from and which pages they open
- map the paths visitors take through your website
- understand your audience by country and device
- review heatmaps for individual pages
No cookies, no personal data. mandera counts visits from signals the browser already exposes, with no cookies and no IP processing, so there is nothing for your visitors to consent to. See How we track for the details.
The modules
Overview chart
The overview chart shows your traffic over time. Use the metric pills above the chart to switch between traffic, page views, pages per visit and visit duration.
Each pill shows the value for the selected time range and the percentage change compared to the previous period. The line chart below shows how the selected metric developed over time.
Use this module first when you want to understand whether traffic is increasing, decreasing or staying stable. Switch between the pills to see whether the change is only visible in one metric or across several metrics.
Traffic sources
Traffic sources show where your visitors come from. The module lists sources as ranked bars, so you can quickly see which channels bring the most traffic.
Each row represents one source. The longer the bar, the more visits came from that source during the selected time range.
Click any source to filter the dashboard to those visitors. The other modules then update to show data for that source. Click the source again or reset the filter to return to the full view.
Use this module to answer questions like:
- Which channels bring visitors to my website?
- How important are direct, search, social or referral sources?
- Which source should I review more closely?
- Which source could become a growth opportunity?
Pages
Pages are ranked by traffic, so you can see which URLs receive the most attention during the selected time range.
The list shows URLs with traffic values next to them. Use the all and saved pills to switch between all tracked pages and pages you have saved for easier access.
Click any page to filter the dashboard to that single URL. This helps you read overview data, sources, user flow, audience data and heatmaps for one page instead of the whole website.
Use this module to find:
- your most visited pages
- pages that deserve a closer review
- pages that may be relevant for SEO or growth opportunities
- pages that should be saved because you check them often
User flow
User Flow maps the paths visitors take through your website. Read it from left to right: traffic sources, entry pages and the pages visitors open next.
Each node represents a source or page. The connections between nodes show how visitors move from one step to the next. Wider connections represent stronger paths.
Select a node to highlight connected paths. This helps you see where visitors continue, where they drop off and which routes may matter for conversion or engagement.
Use User Flow to answer questions like:
- Which pages do visitors open first?
- Where do visitors go next?
- Which paths keep people engaged?
- Where do visitors leave?
Audience
Audience shows who your visitors are at an aggregated level. Switch between locations and devices to understand where visitors come from and how they access your website.
The locations view shows visitor countries, derived from the browser timezone, never from an IP address.
The devices view shows technical context such as screen type, browser and operating system. This helps you understand which devices and browsers should matter most when you review or improve your website.
Use Audience to understand broad patterns without identifying individual visitors. This helps you decide which markets, devices and browsers should matter most when you review or improve your website.
Heatmaps
Heatmaps help you understand how visitors interact with individual pages.
Open a page from the Pages module to view its heatmaps. Heatmaps show where visitors click, how far they scroll, and which areas draw attention through mouse movement.
Use heatmaps to answer questions like:
- Do visitors interact with the most important parts of the page?
- Are calls to action visible enough?
- Do visitors scroll far enough to reach key content?
- Are there areas that look important but receive little interaction?
Private by default. No form input values are ever captured.
Common tasks
Change the time range
Use the date picker to switch between presets or set a custom range. The default view shows the last 30 days.
Every module follows the range you choose. The range is kept in the URL, along with any page or source filter, so you can share or bookmark exactly the view you are looking at.
Use this when you want to review recent traffic, check a campaign period or compare performance after changes on your website.
Find a single page
Use Search pages to find a specific URL on your website.
When you select a page, the dashboard focuses on that page. This helps you analyze traffic, sources, user flow, audience data and heatmap behavior for one URL.
Filter to one source or page
Click a source in the sources list or a page in the pages list to filter the dashboard.
The modules update to match the selected filter. Clear the filter when you want to return to the full website view.
Ask the AI
The analytics suite may show suggested questions next to the dashboard. These help you ask common analysis questions faster.
Examples include:
- Show me unique visits for the last 30 days
- What are my top traffic sources?
- Analyze my page performance
- Compare traffic by country
- What are my most visited pages?
The full mandera AI Chat is explained in its own guide.
